Consulcast: "Hello, dearest citizens, and welcome. Soon, you will be arriving in City 15, one of our finest remaining urban centers. Now allow me to introduce myself: I am Captain Walter Johanson." "During the Seven Hours' War, so inspired was I by our Benefactors' efforts to liberate our world that I elected to join their ranks as a humble conscript. Now, it is my honor to serve you once again as your Consul and Administrator." "The true citizen knows that duty is the greatest gift - it separates us from the animals, after all. As I conduct my administrative duties to the best of my ability, so too must we all do our greatest work. We must all become part of the greater good." "In a few short moments, your transport will stop at the Civil Protection checkpoint. These brave men and women represent the very best the human race has to offer - they are role models to us all, as well as a useful resource to any citizen in need." "So, whether you have chosen, or been chosen, to relocate here, or whether you are merely passing through on your way to parts unknown, allow me to say once more: Welcome to City 15."

1976 USDM Hirochi SB, featuring fully-independent suspension, rear-wheel drive and, in this case, a 1600-cc boxer four producing 72 HP. A 4x4 variant, the SB4, was also available. Early models suffered from rust problems, but this was all sorted out by 1978, making the Hirochi SB one of the most inexpensive, reliable cars available in the US. Shown here is the five-door hatchback, the only body style of this generation available in the US. It was designed such that if you look at it from the right angle, it appears to be a three-door fastback. I don't have much to say about this car - it's pretty much strictly WYSIWYG. Anyway, it was originally available with either a 1100-cc or 1600-cc flat four, but in 1980, the 1100-cc option was dropped, and a new 16-valve 2200-cc engine became available. When equipped with this engine, it was called the "SunBurst." The 4x4 was still called the SB4, and a rear-engined version - dubbed the SBR4 - was made for the FIA Group B. Some bonus images of the 1980 SunBurst, also available as a wagon.
