"I'm not driving, and I'm not impersonating a police officer, I'm traveling freely on the land! I am a private citizen and I do not consent to statute law, so you have no jurisdiction over me. You are violating the Magna Carta and I will bill you for my time!"
I think that I have put heaviest vehicle to BeamNG? jbeam is very crude, but scratch made: It does suffer from limitations of earthling materials though, collapses on it's own weight :-/ I wonder if fault is in our materials, my lack of skill in jbeam or shortcomings of scifi-creator's design, then again I don't remember if such large vessels ever came to near planet surfaces as it might be such vessels might not be possible to hold their own weight in 9.81g Also it seems I have calculated weight some 50 000 000kg too high, but I guess that is pretty much nothing in this scale. I'm surprised BeamNG does not crash or meet some kind of limit, now just need to wait gravity update and I can put antigravity on the thing, then we see what happens when crashing with a Pigeon Dropping thing on Pigeon does crush quite well, but then comes instability: Also it seems that bit over 1000kph is too much and structures start collapsing from drag alone. Maybe with more jbeam skills it is possible to be made better, but mostly I was curious about what would happen with such heavy mass. One thing I wonder is that how quickly it accelerates by gravity, I was suspecting inertia causing much slower acceleration, but then again it makes sense that from stationary state it accelerates down like any rock, but if there would be a way to propel that thing it would be very slow to change direction, however it is bit massive to actually move by any other means than gravity. As mentioned earlier, model is from https://free3d.com/3d-model/negh-var-class-klingon-spaceship-56412.html I have materials.cs which anyone can get by asking, saves two minutes of setting up I guess.
On the 6th time up Descent Road, and it finally died I started by throwing it down the hill, and went back up 5 more times and did the same before the inevitable happened. I was hoping for a bang, but got a wimper... RIP Pessima i coasted back down the hill and took it apart, and found that the head gasket was what did it in.
Where is VR City? (I hope that's the name) I can noh fin et Also what Reshade is that? I totally forgot since I came back. OT:
"Freeman, in case you were wondering how awful the Combine are: all this used to be under at least fifty yards of salt water. That's right, in the past decade, they've drained away about 150 feet of the ocean!" "Hey, at least when we're done with these bastards, this'll all be prime beachfront real estate. I might go into the hotel business. Think of it as a post-apocalyptic game of Monopoly." "Jeez, Gordon, slow down! These old Italian wedgemobiles might be fast, but they burn fuel like it's free. Plus, if you go skittering off the road, there's a good chance we'll get stuck. And God help us if you break the AC - it's a hundred and ten degrees out there!" "I think Highway 17's right this way... no, that way. Actually, yeah, the other way." To be continued... now. "Wow... how long have we been driving? I feel like we should've found the highway by now... Did I get us lost? Shit..." "Oof, that sounded expensive! And... great, the AC fan's stopped working. I told you that would happen, Freeman!! But no, you had to go and drive like a maniac. I swear, if it were me in that test chamber that day, none of this would be happening." "Hmm, this looks like it used to be some kind of a town. Maybe if we dig through the sand a bit, we can find some spare par-- ah, crap..." To be continued?
Geez, this game is amazing, it seems to be perfectly possible to make over 4.3 million metric tons of nodes and beams stable and holding together: There seems to be interesting effect when hitting the thing with a Hero bus at high velocity, bus kinda disintegrates. Now off to figure out how do I make it fly, I mean how difficult it can be? Update: What do you know, thrusters move that thing easily, it is really amazing how well physics engine handles those huge masses in this game.
