With the Dove now being on 6677, I am at that "start a few projects at once and decide what one i like to settle on" stage with stuff.
My dad had 2nd gen CRX and loved it. Thankfully, it never got stolen, although they are incredibly popular among thieves.
Ah, but you see... Really awesome Civic: Really shitty Civic: No contradiction to be found. The Civic is a great car when left alone. Economical and smart, or silly and quick. There is no in between, like that blue... Thing is trying to be. So, the CRX is a really awesome Civic, when left alone (a B18 swap is OK in my book).
I'd love to see what your idea of a really awesome car is. Small, cheap, light, and fast is sweet in my opinion. But this is the internet, opinions don't matter.
Small, cheap, light, and fast truly is sweet. It's a travesty of regulation and mass wimpification that a V8, RWD, under-3000lb coupe can no longer be had for less than $20,000. That would mean almost no features or creature comforts at all, and in an era when even reckless teenagers such as myself would rather take the bus than drive, that just won't work. Here are some cars I think are awesome. You'll notice about two distinct styles and not much that's cheap in the modern era: WARNING: INCOMING PICVOMIT (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here)
I know. That is what occurs when you take a nice Japanese hatch to a coffee shop in downtown Hollywood.
