Such a shame! I was about to say I was planning to release this but knowing you two will not release this... I doubt if I'll work on this and release it...
Seems to me like some people don't read the TOS when they join a site... The devs can ban anyone for any reason, or no reason at all. It's their domain, their servers - similar to being on someone else's property. They're well within their rights to ban you for absolutely no reason, or something as simple as not liking a post of yours. Remember that they're only giving reasons and only banning those who fall foul of the rules in the name of fairness; nobody is forcing them to do that. I'm seeing posts here saying that people are disgusted, leaving the forum, and even threatening people over bans or perceived bad communication. Grow up. Bans, bad communication, missteps, and the like happen everywhere, even from huge name companies. When people fall foul of the rules and are punished, that's their problem. When things happen because of miscommunications or mistakes, give the person a chance to deal with it properly. They're only human, and chances are the pressure certainly isn't going to help them. Your main takeaway from this should be to remember that there's a person on the other side. TL;DR: Rules are rules, devs/mods are well within their rights to ban you regardless, chill out.
