I doubled the amount of RAM on my computer today. Now I can actually play BeamNG at just under 30 FPS on Grid Map, whereas I used to get >20 FPS with one vehicle with the static cubemap (now I get that much with two vehicles and dynamic reflections). I'm finally starting to see the potential of DirectX 11 in this game. Here's my first screenshot with this setup: (imported from here) I repasted the CPU's heat sink as well, so my computer isn't as damn loud, either . I might start my own BeamNG gaming video series soon, since now I can probably get a decent framerate while recording.
