I must have been really out of it last night. I noticed that Blackhills was below 250mb and decided that I should upload it to the mods thing after I made a few changes.
So finally I found some time to check out the newest update. Great update, really nice to see the Barstow, the new decal system and the standardized scale values. Unfortunately all my mods need lots of work to be able to be updated, hopefully Diamondback will release his tool to set those scale values. Doing it all manually will be way too laborious. In the meantime I gave modding the Barstow a quick try; making a coupe/hardtop was something I wanted to do when it was announced. I think it looks quite nice, the roof and b-pillar are modelled like a 1969 Camaro. The shape of a 1969 Torino coupe b-pillar didn't fit the smaller Barstow I think. I expect it to suit a 1970's Nova inspired 4-door quite well also. @ Nad; after the release of the Magnum 500's, seeing those Minilite's/Panasport/Watanabes... Are American Racing Vector wheels and/or Rocket Fuel style rims next?

I see everyone complaining about the quality. You can read my stats, and where I used to have like at least 80+ fps on max settings, I now get like 56. What happened. Really, I don't want it sound like I'm complaining. The solution for me is to just turn my graphics down. My fps will be mostly restored, but just lower graphics.
That was what I thought, but that 80's look is not exactly what I wanted I think if I raise the lower edge of the rear window and round off the corners a bit I'll look more 1970's. (just like a 1st gen Camaro) And I'm pleasantly surprised most off my (addon) mods are largely still functional despite of the new scaled values. They do need new beam property values but are still playable. Interesting to see how unstable a triple trailer is at high speeds, the trailers tend to steer the tractor.
