The globe could be smoothed a bit I think. I will look into it. Really I wasnt much into the globe, as you can see I removed it in the other pump. For textures I used Paint.NET to create and edit existing textures, and the default texture placing system in sketchup to place the textures. It kinda looks like I used a better system, but its not anything special. Sketchup can do something decent looking with textures, but its just not ideal, especially since I have to put much more effort into creating and editing textures for each part and import them rather than having something like a skin. The face was taken from a photo of a restored pump. The rust was added by editing the color levels of the original face and adding in rust from another image. The glass was taken from another image, and edited a bit to change its color level. The glass and the face are 2 separate images. I say it was quite clever The rust texture for the green and red pumps, as you can see here, are quite blown up. This is because I couldnt make them 'Tile' in a way that would make the pumps look good, but since they are blown up, it looks better from a distance, where you would most likely see this pump.
Brits are coming Only need to make textures for a couple more countries and then make the jbeams for the plates that don't have them yet. So the pack is probably ready for release tomorrow.
Oh... I guess I'm keeping these private then. :-/ Actually... Are your UK plates 520mm x 111mm? If not, they should be.
My homemade (made in Automation) engine based on the Honda B16c. Makes the car very quick. 0-60mph - 6 seconds Top Speed - 156 mph Toyota T-50 5-Speed Manual (Honda doesn't have any RWD Transmissions...) 4.30 LSD (also from an AE86) It's EXTREMELY good at drifting now.
How did you do that, i would be interested in doing something similar. Also, where did you get your info to input?
