So I finally tried the SpawnPlayer() Torque3D command to see what BeamNG was like on two legs, first person... ... and it's absolutely the coolest thing ever. Everyone, EVERYONE try this. Move the freecam to a nice position, open the console with `, select TorqueScript or whatever, and type spawnplayer(). From there, WASD to move and hold right mouse button to move the viewpoint like any first person shooter. No jump or sprint, but it's otherwise totally functional. Unedited shots, just from the first person angle. Makes all the difference! I wonder if LFJHutch has ever explored his creations "on foot". The cool thing is, the vehicles and the passage of time are totally separate, so you can walk around your car as it's barrel rolling at high speed in slow motion:
