Looking at a laptop and a desktop. I might be wrong, but the laptop has the better CPU and the desktop has the better GPU. Which one do you think will give a better experience in beamng? The laptop does have a slightly better CPU, but the desktop has a much better GPU. I would go for the desktop and upgrade the CPU later on if necessary.
The thing is, laptops have very limited upgradeability. The laptop does mostly have a better spec, but you can upgrade that desktop to be better than the laptop. The first thing I would do is upgrade that CPU to a Ryzen 5000 series, or add another hard drive or SSD.
