I will announce the winners after i have watched all the video's, still having issues getting the covet to work (it's practicly impossible to mod cars at the moment so i will dish out a link to that when it's fully functioning ~~edit~~ It's almost done, still having wheel issues...
Ok, there's some good and some bad news, The bad news is that with the current way that beamng works, it's almost impossible to mod cars, I thought i just about had it but it kept going wrong and the result was messy. Adding one new piece is hard, adding multiple pieces becomes near impossible. I'll keep working on it and release it when it's done. I'm not currently sure when that will be. As an apology for it's lateness, i am re-jigging the prizes so everyone will receive the skin, and the winner and most stylish will receive the same prize of 3 pieces of there choice each and the skin. I will send a link to all the contestants with the skin attached and announce the winners tonight.
It will be eventually released and sent to every contestant, I got very close but the end result wasn't satisfactory. Gabester said that support for multiple DAE loading is going to be added and then it will be easy. I've done the hard bit and made all the models now anyway ;P.
Winners! Winners! Speed Run: Although it was incredibly hard choosing, i narrowed it down to Korkkis, OMGWTFBBQ and Austin. They were literally impossible to separate but after some time i decided OMGETFBBQ just had the edge on speed. Korkis and Austin will also recieve the 3 models chosen by OMGWTFBBQ. Style and Skill This was tricky to decide and i ended up choosing it based on the speed corners were taken at, the amount of time spent on the track, and skill on varying surfaces. In the end i chose Causticcats as he left the track only twice on a lengthy and fast dirt section. Furthermore he did a lot of neat power-slides to maintain speed through corners. Sorry to anyone who didn't win, enjoy the skin's and good luck in any of my future comps Rob
I had the same problems. The fix is to reset the pivot point of each wheel to 0,0,0 (that's how I did it in 3DS Max, at least).
Thanks for the infi, i tried that, infact every pivot point was at 0 but it still wouldn't work Thanks for the message killazer!
man i wish i knew about this i wouldve entered. I ran 2 minutes exact with the stock motor and a full rally suspension. Starting at the bridge.
