You are very wrong about that. It looks absolutely horrible on the trophy truck body. Some kid made some very shitty skins a couple years ago which put almost every Monster Jam truck on the body.

 

Thanks for the reply, but any texture can look good with a little effort. If textures were cut right they can be placed in the right positions to come out very nice. Not trying push your buttons though. Again thanks for work you might do for these projects.

 

You’re not listening. That’s exactly what this kid did. And it came out horribly. He did Grave Digger, horrible. Monster Mutt, horrible. Even the MJ 25th anniversary, slaughtered. He took the hood decal from a video thumbnail he’s that bad.

 

Ok i get you dont want to give it a shot. Point taken. I am listening though. Your making a claim that some random kid made a shitty skin from a video clip. lol. I have a cut out of every max d panel. It can be cut and placed in the right places... on the template of trophy truck, but im not asking you to make anything so cut the bullshit. No one wants to make it thats it. I dont want to argue with you. So once again thank you for the work that you have done.

 

I don't endorse this kind of hack jobs. I'm trying to make the mod as realistic as possible with the limited means at our disposal... and skins on the wrong body is not my definition of realistic.

If anyone wants to give it a try, be my guest. But do not expect it as part of the main mod anytime soon.

 

My first comment was just my opinion. That was it. I thought it would look cool. Not asking anybody to make anything knowing it wouldnt be realistic.

Just explaining why it's not going to happen, beyond some bootleg skins already in game (Bomb Squad, Son Uva Mother).

Lol agreed not the same . But fun to mess wiith. Looks alot cleaner in game. Crap. photo from tv to phone.

 

But did you overwrite a skin or did you actually make it a new skin.

 

I did use an existing file for the trophy truck template to save time. But now that its done now i can use it as a new skin if i decided to build a whole new truck. But i figured its just for me so doesnt matter.

You must download and install both the repo version (CRD.zip) and the addon pack (CRD_AddonPack.zip) to get the realistic skins and bodies.

Install mods manually by placing them in Documents/BeamNG.drive/mods
