I agree. Maybe I misinterpreted your tones and overreacted, I'm very sorry about that. Maybe I'm wrong, but you sounded quite annoyed to me... That made me tick. My apologies. Now you're bringing up delays when no precise timeframe was ever mentioned: as you said, the announcement was made just 2 weeks ago. Progress is a bit slow but not alarmingly so, release is quite certainly not months away now. To clear this up: nothing special's going on behind the scenes. I'm simply busy, just like I was 2 weeks ago, just like I've always been for the whole duration of the development process. The mod is getting some extra features I'd like to include at release, that's all.
Nah I wasn't annoyed, I'm very eager and I think maybe I check the forum too often lol so I was trying to get an idea on how often I should check for updates. Thanks for responding back, appreciate it and sometimes text vs face time can misconstrue meaning so it caught me off guard with the response back. I would like to say that thanks to you guys all of you that makes the monster jamming for beam drive Amazing. and also reaching out to us about the work of the monster truck pack really love the progress like you said flying2 your soul you have things going on in your life you don't have to go out of your way to do this but you are and I wanna say thank you so very much
PLEASE elaborate. Maybe beamng should just close the ENTIRE mod section, the ideas and support section, and anything else relating to community modding or community sharing of mods. And then at the top of the "Mods" tab put, "only chosen users or users invited by admins of private groups can obtain mods." Would only make since right? Because whoever said persons that are referring to the "public thats walking on a thin line" thinks that a handful of people on the forum that do beg and whine etc, are also speaking for the rest of the 1000's of "public" users (<--*sarcasm*) who play beamng, monitor the repository, DO understand the time and effort that go into ANY kind of development and RESPECT it. Surprise surprise, another forum where ya gotta know somebody to have fun with the game. Community is a little mis-leading now-a-days dont ya say? Maybe closed community is a little more fitting. saying The public is walking a VERY VERY thin line right now. is a little a-hole-ish dont ya think? your trying to speak for a lot of people who remain silent. maybe you shouldn't let pettyness get to you, in return being petty. /rantover
Okay, I'm gonna guess you don't know about what happened earlier. This used to all be public, until F2YS got harassed by a bunch of people. When that happened, the mod almost died. Fortunately, it didn't die because of F2YS's private group. After a while, and up until recently, that group was open to anyone who asked to join. There have been problems with groups lately, and that has made it almost impossible for people to join the group. F2YS has said several times that he's working on finishing the version he wants to release. He's still working on it, so just be patient. He's doing this with his own time, so maybe try and be grateful for all the work he's done.
I have to say that to make people listen. If they listen and respect people, when dont have a problem. Easy as that.
If you guys have any questions, feel free to message me at anytime! Exactly, the group was open for a couple of weeks, but BeamNG was messing up and people could not join it at all. The old group was shut down, and we had to make a new one.
rather, it went back to a private group and had a cleansing of it's members. those that stayed are the ones who've helped the most or were the most into it.
there should be a way to give people infractions that abuse the mod privileges like the guy a few pages back pm'ing the mod to others. same goes for nagging individuals as well. that would slow some of it down.
quick question guys in the meantime while progress to the monster truck pack is being done what can I use as a monster truck in beamng drive any suggestions
the D-up mod with 35s for now......or a tractor from the farming pack.......or the Belaz if it still works

Progress is being made extremely fast, be patient F2YS is working his *** off to create this amazing mod for us to enjoy. Like its been said before its for no profit at all and its a hobby. Dont bicker and once it does come out it makes it oh so much sweeter to see the progress . Keep doing what you're doing F2YS and know we all appreciate it extremely or at least I do. I looked into modding and stuff for beam and its not simple at all and takes a bunch of time working from scratch so major major props.
I would agree as well that it is very hard to make this mod and f2ys is one of the damn best people the BeamNG community will ever have! Also, does anyone know of a tutorial that is buried somewhere on the CRD forums about making skins for the trucks as I am looking into that. --- Post updated --- I have the original D15 V3 Monster Truck that I may be able to PM you so you at least have something to play with until this mod is open to the public. I don't know who actually helped build and contribute to the original monster truck, but I don't think they would mind if I shared it with you. By the way, this truck actually does work still in BeamNG. --- Post updated --- Oh and btw on the first page of this forum there is actually the old CRD monster truck which is basically the exact same idea as the newer version so you should be able to use that.
