Yep, it's the newly introduced Escalade body, available in 8 paint schemes.
have less security in place the wheels would be cool as a crossover
Finally finished a video with the Monster Jam stuff I did a few days ago. Also setup a prototype multiseat idea I had with the monster trucks in the world editor. Was gonna try four player while friends were over on the weekend but ran out of time. Might be able to do it next week.
i've been doing a little monster jam series as well for a little while. people seem to enjoy them. i'm not sure how you are with me sharing this, so i only provide the link to this thread if if someone specifically asks for it. i've done quite a lot of these videos, so i'll only link the most popular 2.
I've watched some of these, there was an angry RoR kid in the comments on one of them XD
i cant seem to get this truck into the game or the mod screen to acknowledge its there in the vehicles folder. I unzipped the file, and moved the crdtest folder into the vehicles folder.. am i doing this wrong?
everything. simply place the zip in your mods folder.
so just drop the zipped file itself into the mods folder.. not into the vehicles folder?
nope. SUPER outdated way of installing.
I think you meant "yep" - eg "yes, do just drop the zip into the mods folder"
Sorry, looking back that was kinda confusing but this is what i mean
nope as in, dont put it in the vehicles folder
thanks for the help guys! I really appreciate it
Could you get it to work?
I modified this truck over the past few days and even got some custom sounds for it but they are from a youtube video so idk how that is for sharing?
what i have done is first reducing its weight by alot. Its now about 4700Kg with body insted of over 7000 as it was.
I also reduced the number of nodes on the tires wich also lowers the weight and improved the shakiness by alot.
I locked the diff on front and rear and made a cheaty center diff by creating a diff between FR and RL and one with FL and RR
And i have softened the suspension and tires but its currently landing to well i think
I can pm the files soon if you want im just gonna tweak the suspension and maybe the tires a bit more
I also noticed after uploading the video that setting shader quality to lowest made the map alot brighter
Sure, I'd love to check out some alternative solutions. All welcomed!
I have some custom sounds in the works, but yours seem to loop a whole lot better.
I don't really want to reduce the weight of the tires too much (there's a counterweight in the middle of the rim that could be removed, if anything), but a shedding some weight off the chassis is definitely a good idea, and so is the "central" diff.

Yay just tested a "cheaty" diff and it works great!
sounds pretty good! it sounds a bit 2-stroke-y imo. but still really good. and it looks like it handles a LOT better with all that weight shaved off.
A good compromise would be to make the chassis lighter and keep the tires as they are, without the counterweight in the rims (that alone could save like ~300kgs).
The counterweight itself is a residue of the early attempts to stabilize the truck, but it's no longer needed IMO.
i googled a bit and found that one tire with rim weights about 408Kg so i increased it to that and it still handles quite good and is harder to roll over on angeled landings somehow i tought they weight 250Kg
i wonder how i did not see those heavy nodes at the wheels im gonna remove them and see how it drives
