what are these attached files for? but speaking of blue thunder idk if anyone else here remembers but blue thunder always had 2 flags on it at least this version did idk about the new one tho
These are not suitable for the body currently in game (they were meant for a similar mesh from another author). They'll need to be adapted/remade before they can be used. We'd better use the existing texture for Blue Thunder and modify the details to make those variations.
Couple really quick and really dirty edits to fernBurn's Blue Thunder textures: Specular Map: Shine Map: To get them in game you can rename them and overwrite an existing texture. For the screenshots they were renamed as BlueThunder and placed in the Blue Thunder folder inside CRDTest >Textures. Also, I'm a little dissapointed, no one's called me out about Blue Thunder having a silver chassis in its thumbnail Add the Chassis_Silver_d texture to the Blue Thunder folder and copy the contents of the .txt file to the materials.cs file in the CRDTest folder to change colors.
I'll add it in the next update as a separate skin if you agree, to avoid texture replacement. EDIT - There's a silver chassis texture in the pack already.
To put it bluntly, it's not going anywhere. Working on other subsystems for this mod first (alternative tires, breakable bodies, fire system), besides there's already a working Cohen being distributed right now, so I'll probably take care of some other chassis instead of developing a duplicate.
he gave it to me to try and get bodies for it and for letting him use the GDTL i got. --- Post updated --- but it's staying with me
yeah, i had a model for a Cohen GDTL chassis so I am messing around with it. not all the props fit but the CRD Chassis shoved with a GDTL body just looks bad. also the one im using has just the chassis
You can if you want, but these are really rough looking. After the recolor the lightning looks shriveled and pixelated. Not sure if its worth it.
Ah well, that's fine with me either way, if you want to release it I'll drop mine and maybe resume development of the basic PEI.
