Hey Soul, whenever you get the chance, please invite me to the group once the problem has been solved. Thank You!
if we did indeed break the groups.....i'd say we NEED to make a 3.0 thread for it on the forums even though @FLyInG 2 YoUr SoUL doesn't want to juggle multiple releases. he doesn't have to, it was a DEVELOPMENT group for a reason. 1 publicly released version and 1 developmental version that constantly gets updated
i understand no but if no one is able to join groups for several weeks and the devs don't have any solutions......if you don't, you don't. which is fine.......
The group is open, no one's had any problem joining since then. There's a handful of glitched-out memberships that are being handled manually. And then there's the account age limit that prevented some users from viewing the subforum because they just joined. Those will just have to wait a bit, which is no bad thing.
Ok, I figured out the fps drop problem. It was apparently my antivirus software. I uninstalled it because my trial ran out and now I get 65-75fps on max settings with a monster jam map.
There's probably an account age limit. Looks like freshly-created accounts are restricted out of group subforums. That limitation is supposedly lifted after... 1, 2 weeks? I don't know exactly.
people need to be at least 16 years old and they will be fine. people can be younger but will be watched closely by the beamng devs (the one who is a furry is a prime example) but if they misbehave and are under 16, they will be banned. the group join thing is that accounts have to be 2 weeks old.
Well technically you can be 13 years old and be fine since that is the law on forums. There are plenty of people that are 13 or older, and none of them are banned (except for @Dunkleosteus)
@FLyInG 2 YoUr SoUL what else needs to be done for me to join the group. I know my account is plenty old enough. Thanks
There is a glitch that is restricting people to join the group. He can't do anything until it is fixed.
So far, group access has been reportedly restricted for: - Newly-created forum accounts. - Seasoned but unused forum accounts with less than 5 forum posts. Apparently, newly registered users can't access group subforums for two weeks. For everyone else: do you guys have a fully-activated forum account? E-mail confirmed and all? If that's the case, there might also be some minimum post count requirement in order to access subforums.
