I'm currently working on a Bolide rally car based on the Ferrari 308 GTB rally car, and I've decided to keep the 12 inch rear tire width (based on Group B tire size regulations), except I wanted to make them into rally tires instead of sport or race tires. I've basically taken the values from the official rally tires and copied them onto my new tires, and the tires shake and lose control extremely easily. Driving normally is alright, but as soon as they lose traction, there is no regaining it unless you push in the clutch pedal. Can anyone let me know what's wrong? It seems to only happen with the rear tires, but maybe with front wheel drive the front ones would do it too.
No, I had copied almost all of the entire rally tire onto the (much larger) road tire, so I guess that was the problem. I fixed it and now it's working perfectly, thank you for the help!
