Re: D-15 Baja In fact, we do have progress! I apologize for the delay, but I had to redo the entire front suspension. But after hitting the middle ramp at ~50mph it only sustained minor hood bending. ! (Also download incoming)
it looks even more amazing. Great job. looking forward to beta testing. - - - Updated - - - what might look better in the long run, would be to make a whole new baja looking body instead of deforming it like this, and the doors would be extremely hard to make fit in to these fenders. And great work with front suspension. - - - Updated - - - and the wheel jbeam structure seems to be off a bit
Is the tailgate suppose to be paper thin and if so idk why but your suspension just didnt work on mine it was extremely stiff like didn't move stiff.
There is a lot of work to be done on the body, and I plan to get there. My main concern is dialing in the suspension and jbeams. As for the rear suspension acting up, I'll look into that for you.
Front tires are not centred on the jbeam. Rear tires have a narrower track than the jbeam. Front suspension drops to fast imo, works great otherwise. Apart from the above i absolutely love this thing
Loving this mod, it is so perfect. is it possible for you to update it so we can install the right baja front fender as well. right now i am only able to get the left one. other than that. Best mod ever i look forward to the updates!
This doesn't look all that different from the D-15?? What did you do? I mean I have no clue what you did, since it looks the same as Gabes model??
Just so you all know, I haven't stopped on this! In all actuality, I've been dialing in the suspension for better behavior and better repeat jumps. Other than that, I still need to figure out how to fix the shadow issues, and then finish and polish the fenders. Sorry this is taking so long, you can go ahead and blame Blizzard for releasing a D3 expansion. You could also blame my house for needing things done to it. Either way, we have progress and you guys can expect an updated version within the next week or two (depending on if my house holds together or not).
