@Nick Slur I know that you are new here but you have to understand that this project/thread is dead and it isn't supposed to be bumped (write a reply to a old and dead thread). Thank you
i love the datsun 240Z. can you do a skin of the roadkill datsun if https://images.search.yahoo.com/ima...-002&fr2=piv-web&hsimp=yhs-002&hspart=mozilla plz
not really dead, I work on it here and there. problem is i got it in game, but it was just a wire frame that collapsed. I may update the thread soon.
Sorry to bump the thread, but is there any progress on it? Would love to drive a 240Z as getting one irl isn't the most cheap thing to do
Like the author said it sorta isnt dead, so there might be some progress. What i am trynna say is it might be dead it might not be, besides the author shows recent activities on the forums So it could be alive
Isn't the jbeam structure supposed to be a simplified skeleton of the car for collisions? It looks like you just exported the 3d model as a jbeam and I think that's why it's collapsing because the jbeam is too complex.
Just refer to the wiki, it might solve your collapsing jbeam. Also great to know that you have been working on this after soo much of time. Take yer sweet time and develop it. Good Luck and Good Day !
I believe so, I might retry this week. --- Post updated --- thanks for the encouragement, Ill have to crack down and actually get it in game soon
It's better to use an existing jbeam and make it fit the car. It's long, it may need a lot of adjustements, but at least you don't have to create it and you can understand how it work easier by trying to tweak the values and see what happen. What can also help is to follow the wiki and make a first jbeam like a cube, then change the values to see the impact of the changes. Then apply the knowledge acquired to improve the modified car jbeam.
thats what i was thinking, probably going to try the 200bx j beam, feels the closest to how they handle.
Like he said, He is working on it slowly, last post was not even a month ago, but if so that would be a huge bummer
