YOOO, A MAP IN NH. SIIICK. I should totally go out, tear down a bridge irl to screw up your progress, and hope the staties don't find me lol Jk, it'll be on WMUR every night and I couldn't deal with that But still, a map in irl NH. Friggin sick, dude. I would've done the same with Goffstown myself, but my computer died. But hey, at least we have you and your Deering map! Really hoping this one goes well! Cheers, dude!
I'm pretty sure East Coast takes some minor influences from NH too (probably rural areas between the lakes region and the white mountains), which makes sense when you consider that the map has at least one covered bridge. However, you won't be wrong to say Maine was the primary influence. Sorry, I had to put in my two cents.
I just found this thread here, and I love the idea for the project and I hope it isn't dead. I live in Bedford, New Hampshire myself, and I would love to see a map take place around here. Nice job.
Oh, and annoying extra thing one year after it happened, Hampshire is a county in Britain, just for knowledge, because I cant spell things right doesn't mean I don't know shit about them, I am a UK citizen, sorry for the "quote bump" Proof: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place...16f3b828f333a8d!8m2!3d51.0576948!4d-1.3080629
I know Hampshire is a county is Britain, I never argued against that. On topic: My apologies guys. I haven't made progress on this in a year. I'm working full-time and it's highly unlikely that I will get the map to the level of quality that I want it to have. I'll try and work on this in the background but my only free time is on the weekends where I want any 'work' to be as far away as possible. I'm always checking in, just extra work isn't my thing these days.
Deering is also a town in Britain, I think I know Hampshire because its the county below the county I live in (Wiltshire )
