Thank you for the update, but after a couple of good old derbys i have come across a few things.
first something when i change the ai cars sometimes after the countdown the cars like break and stay in the ild start and sometimes only a couple move. 3rd i think you have fix the overheating problem but when i am in the inside view the car temperature gauge is max out.
i did a trucks and van derby, my van lasted 2 minutes before the engine gave out after like a minute or less after rad damage.
Did you change any of the configs for this update @bidwars ? Since killerman is still reporting about the overheating issue, it could be that the cars have stock radiators now, I remember that something changed with one of the recent main game updates, so the configs might be messed up a bit.
And as for that issue with changed AI cars, do you use some sort of mod cars, when those issues happen, @carkillerman12 ?
There should be no config changes for this update. The temp on the cars will go up and overheat but not to the point of killing the engine. If you have any damage to the radiator it will overheat quickly and kill the engine. I am able to do a damage percentage of the radiator before it kills the engine but then it seems like the ai last forever.
As for the ai not moving I will need a copy of your beamng.log file when you have the problem.
You propably did some mistakes with the quotes. But anyway, obviosly gentle throttle usage is important and sometimes you need to take some ''cooldown laps'' around the arena to cool the engine a bit if it seems to getting too hot.

Well then there might be, that if you use some seaparate mod cars that there is something what this derby mod doesn't support and thus, gives those issues. Of course @bidwars could check on this, if you describe that what mod cars you use.
Has anyone else been having the issue of cars just randomly dying? I was doing a reverse hit with a perfectly intact front end and "Engine has been disabled" popped up. I wasnt sitting in one spot long enough to be called out, and I noticed a few AI cars also suddenly stop for no reason as well.

Oh, I was going to say that some cars, like the marshall, end up blowing their fuel tank and it will leak out and you will run out of fuel and the engine icon will turn red and be "disabled."
Driving in reverse all derby just gives you a stiffer neck than you will already have. When in doubt, just nose it out.
Come to think of it, that's a really good point. I remember the fuel changes a while ago to make the fires stop but if it's causing them to die from running out I think we've found the issue.
Makes sense as to why a car that had so little damage would just randomly lose power.
One of them stopped because of a lua error. So I will need to take a look at that issue.
I am having an issue with the banger racing mode. The checkpoints don’t work. You can follow the other cars but it never registers the laps or checkpoints. Also the check point only appears for a split second and then disappears again and never registers when you pass through it
From what I understand this is a problem that BeamNG Developers are aware of already. You can use the Derby Place App to get your lap and the ai's lap count.
just a few random comments, the pink crew cab pickup has the wrong drive shaft, there may be other cars that also might. also dang! the ai is not rough enough, they never do hard hits anymore
ya i sometimes get that
that's what i call a derby! car still ran and drove, besides broken right tire rod. i almost made it through the whole derby without busting a rad, but a slight tap with the right fender the wall took it out, derby lasted like 13 minutes or so.
be cool if you could make so we can save the car for like another derby, that would be cool, because i wanted to see how much i could destroy it
love this mod but after i run one derby and go to start another one it wont load cars and the countdown starts. any fix for the problem? no other mods are activated other than the derby mods.
