found a pretty eye wrecking bug... EDIT: hang on I think my map is an old version.. EDIT 2: nope, still there but slightly different.
I thought I saw something odd as I was traveling down this highway at 270 mph. Then again it's pretty hard to see stuff at 270 mph
It sounds like it's only you having the issue so...I'm sorry. Look up a guide for installing mods and try that. Also, if your BeamNG is old or not up to date, this will not run.
I have to say I love this map its a bit bumpy for me honestly I can handle the bumps now you just know where to place your car and then its easy but I love the map its awesome for V-Maxing cars!
@iheartmods you should add a stretch of highway that is more flat than the current ones. Not gridmap flat, but with less sudden elevation changes. It's hard to go past 200mph on them currently and I'd like to use my 366mph-top-speed SBR mod to its fullest potential
There is a road that goes behind the first Hangar (the left road with no markings at spawn). Use that. It's as flat as I can possibly go
@iheartmods I made a short video showcasing one of the long straights. Is there any way you can replace the physics material on the sides of the roads from sand (which will tear apart a car that runs too wide) to dirt? I'm not saying make it look like dirt, but I want it to behave like dirt. BeamNG's sand is like the claws of death.
Well, I haven't looked into that yet (and that has only become an occurrence recently with the ground model update)...but, off my head, the ground texture IS the ground material (hence why I have to paint asphalt under all the roads so the traction is real) What may be even more of a problem if I can't change the ground material is that this map has one, very large picture which is the entire ground texture... Anyway, I am rambling. I'll look into it.
