Detailed Vehicle Damage App not Resetting with Vehicle

I was using the new crew cab truck and was messing around and I crashed it and reset it and the Vehicle damage app didn't reset with the truck.

So I did what the thread said and I found out that it is not an issue with any mods it is in fact a bug. Whenever you crash a car with the detailed vehicle damage app on, it correctly shows the damage, but when you reset the car with R, then the damage app for some reason does not reset. It only resets when you do CTRL+R.
