I assume theyre constantly working on the tyres. Hence why there is so many types of wheels, (L-Beam being the latest version). I really like where this is going, thermals for brakes and tyres really opens up possibilites regarding serious races. That will draw a greater crowd, opening up even greater possibilities for Beamng and its developers.
This is the first game with fully working engine thermals, brake thermals, if they work at tyre thermals and better punctures, tyre that can come out from the rim or losing pressure with consequently flat tyre it would be great
It definitely would although a car actually losing the tire but not the wheel isnt that common but it happens. I like how they flaunt the engine thermals, tickles my nerd-side.
Devs! If you read this thread, maybe you see it here Please add an antenna It will look so nice! Preferably on the hood --- Post updated --- By the way Wind deflectors and a windshield sun visor would also fit well i think [
All I want to know... will we get purpose built race cars (stock cars, open wheel, le mans prototype, ect) or only race versions of street cars? I really want to see some stock cars in BeamNG!
Maybe when the game will handle more cars on screens, i can't imagine a NASCAR or F1 race with 4 cars
Right now I don't care how many cars, because eventually things will be optimized to run more cars. I've done 8 cars on screen and can probably do 12 (6-core CPU with hyperthreading) without issue.
Ahh I see, though I wasn't insinuating that you devs don't care or are somehow above the community. I was more just saying that there's so much stuff that's mostly not feedback to pour over.
Actually managed to roll the tire of my wheel on my Skyline, inwards towards the rear coilover. Felt like i got a flat so i stuck my head out the window, looking at the rear wheel and could see the wheel but no tire. Looked like the wheel was floating in the air
My brother borrowed my moms car once to go to some race his boss was a part of or something, on his way back he hit a cattle guard, swerved off the road, through a barbed wire fence, and managed to actually rip the tire off the rim. So, yeah, it's possible. Also usually see torn tires on the freeway.
