Doubt it, no way in hell that shape could be created by skidmarks.
Also fun fact, skid marks were skinnable since the release of the game. Way back in 2013 someone made bacon skidmarks. Yes, bacon.

Wait...BACON skidmarks? That would be totally appropriate with the Police Grand Marshal and Sunburst.

@B25Mitch I know I'm responding to a three-month-old dev section post, but this intersection:

    intersection2.jpg

Is not realistic as far as I know. You have a left-turn-only lane, but it continues straight on to another normal lane. I've seen arbitrarily-declared turn lanes like that where it's still physically possible to go straight, but they're usually right-turn-only lanes used to make life easier on right-turning cross traffic and/or reduce bottlenecks at the point where the right lane merges into the left one. Unless it's done differently in California for whatever reason.

I've seen that type in real life (although in the UK of course). It's definitely a possible/sensical type of lane, because it's assumed that all of the traffic that goes straight will then split into the next two lanes after the junction, usually to take the next left turn.

A left-turn lane like that in the UK would be pretty much equivalent to the right-turn lanes I described.

Maybe it's different and I just have no experience from spending my life in Alaska, but the left-turn-only lanes (or RTO, for UK/Australia) I've seen are usually set up in such a way that attempting to go straight from them will cause you to hit an obstacle or end up in the oncoming lane.

I'm curious, explain a bit more about that. For my eyes, that place in the picture had beautiful graphics, but was it something about the surface edges of the objects or overall geometry of the area ?

New screenshot was just released with the Legran and a dumptruck variant of the T-series... when that comes out somebody NEEDS to turn it into a driveable ramp...

What does this mean? Are these finally skidmarks facing the direction of travel? Or just simply some art?o_O

I remember when the dump truck configuration for the T-series was just a rumor from some extra files many months ago. Now it's real.

You guys are all hung up on these being skidmarks. I have a feeling this represents something to do with the new coloring scheme for skins
and the newish ability for decals to apply to static map objects. I'm thinking custom road/environment markings here with this sort of combination.

That silly spiral merely represents the color wheel spiral cultism emblematic of world illerminaty illeets.
