I seriously hope the update is this weekend, cant get any more excited about this jee.. i mean hopper
Definitely looks like an older model now. I'm thinking '80s, maybe '90s. Really digging the canvas top too. I wonder how it will deform.
Thanks, this post made me realize twitter quality filter has been hiding way too many legitimate notifications. Filter disabled, problem gone.
maybe the filters *were* working OT: i think the first thing im gonna do with the hopper is go to utah, hook a caravan up to it, and then throw it off a cliff
Funny how the devs are saying nothing about the motion blur but replying to hopper stuff... My avatar represents how I feel perfectly lol
Tbh, I'm more excited for unconfirmed motion blur than the confirmed hopper for some reason...Is this strange?
What the hell can they even say about motion blur? "hey, as you move, things get blurry! Yay!" Sure, it's an amazing feature to have, but there's way more things to say about a brand new jeep-y thingy.
I see what you mean, but I feel like new functionality is more important than new content. New functionality means more ways to make content, and better content. I see where you are coming from, it's just that I feel different. But then again, it's just motion blur. Also this signals the long awaited (atleast for me) improvement in GFX. Motion blur might be a small step, but it's a step nevertheless.
Well the BeamNG Twitter account responded to someone earlier with "the new update is simply taking longer than initially estimated, but it wll arrive as soon as its done" So It's possibly not done (or they're just saying that). Let's just wait and see if it comes tomorrow
That's a little worrisome - there's mild spiking on the hub, and quite a few places where the deformation looks a little weird, although that may be down to the angle. Hopefully this is either an old picture accidentally released instead of a new one, or the odd deformation is a result of this being a high-speed impact. The latter seems fairly likely, given that the frame rails are severely bent. On the plus side, the soft top seems to be deforming well, conforming to the shape of the bent rollcage underneath.
