ooh turbo I6!
P.S. does anyone know where I can find the code for the materials mapping for the etki turbo? thanks.(this will look like the etki turbo as the model is a modified version of it)
use the ETKI materials
thats the best fit for that turbo set up, and it should work flawlessly
Have looked in etki>materials.cs and it’s not there. Same with common>materials.cs too, if it is in one of those files could you say what line it’s around so I know where to look.
Never skip legday.
seriously, please dont
- Modeled new rims and tires (Modified Jbeam to fit)
- Added rear axles for single wheels (Custom Jbeam)
- Added some small details to the cab (Bolts and front hole for aircooling, side holes for vents)
- Added extra Jbeams to the Tarp (So it will not fold in on it self)
evidence of me learning materials:
edge split reeee
I made jbeams for this
have you considered ditching the rear door completely?
IMO, it looks a bit squished in there.
I disagree, Im glad to finally see a compact sedan in here.
so I need a bit of help, I don't know what i'm doing wrong with the materials folder, the lua shown above doesn't have any errors apart from the materials ones shown here. code for inspection:
what are you trying to do?
fixing the code so the material on my turbo will work.
Okay, here you go:
The material of the turbo is etki_engine:
Make sure the material of the turbo is etki_engine and not etki_engine.001 or something like that.MAKE SURE THAT THERE ARE NO UNNECESSARY MESHES IN IT. It will overwrite things otherwise. Give your parts a new name too. Something like *part*_*mod*_*yourname* is always safe. Now export the mesh to barstow/yourmod/ (as a DAE of course).
Then make a materials.cs with the used materials (in this case the etki_engine entry).
Then make the jbeam and it should work.
now I just have this to sort out.
