Engine placement as well as how it is connected to the chassis would be quite useful. Thanks

By the way, is the chair offset to the left or central?

If its offset would you mind giving me a figure (doesn't have to be 100% accurate, to nearest 1/2inch is fine)

I've been go-karting a few times. Wouldn't call myself an expert though, mates have done it for birthdays or whatever (so did I once). Nearest centre on the indoors track you have a seat offset to the right (if I recall) with fuel tank above the engine on the left. Outdoor track the fuel tank was below the steering column with engine behind a central chair.
I think however you decide will work out.

that plane should ditch the Canada Air skin and in it's place, it should be a Malaysia Airlines skin

The gokart you're making has the seat in the middle I'm pretty sure.

I used to have a go kart too!

The engine was weaker than a Prius though.. (Worn out ancient 2HP Briggs that has gone to engine heaven.)

My sister said my birthday present (Which btw was months ago) is that I get to go to some fun place like an indoor go kart track. The only go karts I've driven are those kiddie kinds that are limited to like 10-15 MPH (The last time I was on one the operator cut my engine because I was driving like I was having seizure) and that go kart we used to have which was limited to like 10MPH by the shitty engine.
