Liking the ETK badges imbedded into the corner of the taillights, we need more design quirks like that.
I've been finishing up my half-finished stuff recently like this simple prison bus. All for a large mod pack that has configs for almost every vehicle already. Skin by my friend, there are also way cooler skins by him in the pack which I won't show yet.
Just want to give some constructive feedback: I'm liking the prison bus skin, but I notice that most prison buses are based on the ones schools would use, or are based on the ones that are typically used for long-distance travel (like Greyhound, etc) Not city buses (like MTA buses). You might want to consider a Freightliner skin or a Dansworth skin, but it's all up to you.
The point of the mod is to use in-game vehicles for this kind of stuff. The full thing will include scenarios and we don't want to have problems with getting permission to use other mods for it or with the mods breaking and making the scenarios impossible. I might make some better suited parts later like special seats and cage driver separator but I wanted to finish this quickly for now. Also, this one is just used to quickly transport some criminals into a makeshift prison in the same town, so they could have just repurposed a citybus specifically for this occasion. Realism will not really be the main focus of this mod either, while I do try to make as high quality Jbeam and stuff as possible there are many things that are exaggerated and realistically wouldn't make sense, like my Mad Max style cars with semi truck parts, a Pessima used as a tow truck, a D-Series with a huge cannon or a car jump system based on explosions. And there's more crazy stuff like this planned.
You don't have to be sorry, actually thanks for the suggestion to make it less like a city bus, I'll make custom seats like school bus ones. OT: Another thing from the mod that doesn't make sense
reminds me of the hidden ambulance in watch_dogs 2. any chance it could have a distorted siren sound (ideally i'd say use the sirenhead noises and they're sirens and sound creepy as all hell but that's probably got copyright attachments)
I removed the siren sound slot entirely for now because in a vehicle like this it would be broken after years, I don't know how to make custom sounds, but I could try --- Post updated --- If you want you can do it, I'll ask my friend who came up with the vehicle if he's fine with it --- Post updated --- If you want you can do it, I'll ask my friend who came up with the vehicle if he's fine with it You can make it, but if it sounds too painful to ears or not fitting then we won't include it
I actually made a post about it here if you didn't see it (it was at the bottom of the page so maybe that's why): The beepers do also go off without looking in the reverse camera but only in reverse gear. And I'm gonna be adding this to more vehicles like the modern ones, bus and some trucks maybe.
