It’s not an F1 car, not with that powertrain setup it isn’t. Think a little lower down the junior ladder
About time I shared the entire model : Lore-friendly F4 car. Based mainly on the Tatuus F4-T421 and the Mygale M21-F4. 160hp, 580kg, fun to drive open-wheeler. This is generally the second step on the ladder to F1 after karting, and sees drivers as young as 15 years old take the wheel of these cars. Features include detailed drivetrain models, accurate suspension geometry, and even FIA-spec wing profiles. Everything has been though of down to the thickness of the underfloor plank. I'm currently in the process of getting this in-game. I'll be making a thread for it not long after I get it driving somewhat correctly and I'll keep you posted here regarding progress. I'm hoping to make this the most realistic formula car available. It will also be completely free and available on the repository
this looks awesome, I cant wait to drive it sometime! Would I be correct in assuming you're making this your most detailed formula car because of BeamNG's current aero simulation? I've noticed aero issues being a trend with a lot of race car mods lol
Some of the race car mods also have some "interesting" aero setups, making them very prone to flying. You can 100% make something half decent with the current aero model as long as you understand how it works.
Progress dump of my current WIP Hirochi Sunstorm mod (No there will NOT be electric version for that in my plans, GM V8 or Audi V10 only for the engine choices)
