Hirochi Sunburst running with an electric engine and an automatic transmission... Makes sense, right? Might release it as a Hirochi eBurst? Idk I did this because I was bored.
Had some fun with 3D modelling recently: Does this still count as a hatchback? 5 bodystyles holy moly Please do acknowledge that this stuff is only in the modelling stage so far, nothing actually in-game. Although I am planning on adding it to the game, I have no clue when If anyone has any questions, @ me on the Xenira thread so that they dont generate clutter here.
I see what you did there... Does Some Semi-Random Garage do anything to classics? Looks somewhat like the Taurus wagon in my profile image.
Sorry, Pigeon Claus is a bit late, due to the bad roads and his unsecured load... Yes, the box is completly unsecured, so drive it with care! EDIT: The basics are now done. Next is an unhealthy amount of Christmas stuff --- Post updated --- @SSRG, Am I allowed, to create a front Fascia for this, which looks similar to the Xenira Fascia? I think it would be cool.
Work in progress digital dashboard for a Sunburst EV mod I'm making. Heavily based off a 2017-2019 Hyundai Ioniq Type-B cluster.
The amount of technical stuff that went into getting this road setup is pretty crazy, totally over engineered lol, but that's half the fun of mapping. Basically this map is going to have some pretty detailed road collision because terrain objects with this much height variation have awful accuracy and are super bumpy even when the road height is baked out from Blender. The upside of this is that I can just shrinkwrap a mesh onto the lidar data, smooth it a bit and get all the banking and everything pretty accurate. Slap some complicated geometry nodes stuff on top with a script and I can non-destructively edit and automatically export the road in segments. Also all the vegetation disappeared because I had to remove it when I realized the scale of the map was slightly off, that was a fun discovery. Luckily I automated the placement of that with more geo nodes and scripts, geo nodes are awesome. I really should just start a thread for this map already.
sure --- Post updated --- long The last picture reminds me of old Beam. The Pessima used to have white/gray bits on the taillights.
There is point cloud data embedded in google maps street view. Maybe you can figure out how to access this gold mine. The point accuracy is probably much better than lidar acquired by an airplane. Also street view covers much more of the earth than open lidar data sets. Can you show a sample of the blender to beamNG workflow for vegetation?
Making some cosmetic bits for the Pessima. Still need to model the front lip, and a couple of liveries are in the works too. Might make some mild performance improvements as well but I'm not sure yet.
