Engine bay is almost complete, Just need to put a Airfilter on the carb and chuck a Radiator in it. I'm going to start modeling the 350 soon aswell. The small details count: Adding a Supercharger for shits and gigs.
Guess it's time to re-use my E36 n/b... ... And make it into something that actually represents a real Cosworth. And no, this is not the Forza model, this is a model by ChongMcBong, who made it for GTA San Andreas and GTA IV... And it's glorious.
It's not already made. The Rs500 that's already made does not represent a real Sierra Cosworth in any way except for the model. It's just a Ibishu Covet with a different model. Mine will be a real Sierra Cosworth, and my model isn't from Forza so I won't ever have to remove it, since I have permission I wasn't going to do this at first (like, I'm not doing it just because I dont like the other one), but when Dkutch said he asked Chong to convert the model to Assetto Corsa, I really wanted to do it for BeamNG too, so I contacted him Or, in short: You will see for yourself why I'm doing it once I release it
Cool good luck with it. Btw could you make working/turning tank tracks with working suspension. may need it for a project I'm starting
Yes, but you can't steer them for now, unless I can write some very complicated LUA that works... Still waiting for Estama to implement a skid-steer option properly... So unless you want to build a half-track, I wouldn't bother yet...
Can't make it so you can select which one gets power sent to it as in the tank way ? > powers right track and < powers left track
That's the point, there's no support for sending power to one wheel/track but not the other I did add a request for it though...
Cool so that project is dead. Or I might just fake tracks using wheels. BTW how do you set in the material editor if something receives reflections ?
cool, does that mean that after thats added we could create a computer controlled 4WD(or would it be AWD, idk) system so that it only sends power to wheels on the ground, instead of losing some power trying to run wheels on and off the ground at the same time
Real systems do that by either electronically locking the differential or apply the brakes on the unloaded wheel. We can already do limited slip diff's, we can probably do the braking trick too.
That's great news. Thank you for saving such a classic from beeing only a reskin. I wish the Quattro will get the same treatment one day too.
Not against sketchup but i wonder why many people use sketchup when they could use blender or other 3D modeling program. The nova looks beautiful by the way.
Actually, this car has been mixed with 3 car parts. -Front fascia--1971 Dodge challenger -Body and rear--1970 Dodge charger -Grill--Jeep - - - Updated - - - Half of the shell is almost done. I'm gonna tweak the car tomorrow because for now it looks like a boat on wheels. Haven't place edge spit, the rear is really confounding so i'm gonna ask the community to put some rear suggestions, it should be 1970 and a muscle car. This was done by 1 hour, why!?!? Because in beginning i have done 10+ attempts at making prostreet by reference. This was the first successful pro street by reference but couldn't finished it because my computer got fried and i had to reformat.
