Well just judging by the picture I think that frame is maybe just a "little" too long :p

Modern dashboards are BRUTAL...I know how you feel. It looks quite good but a bit messy(that may be only because of the render though) The steering wheel might need to be redone in my opinion since it looks a bit "dented" in the places where the spokes are meeting the outer ring. It's the most important component of the interior so it should have the most detail. But otherwise the dash itself looks really nice so far :)

I have to agree! And the Crown Vic. interior looks really well done :)

And since we are on interiors, I am also almost done with the Del Sol interior:
    w.JPG e.JPG
Door panel and seats still need some touch-ups.
Slow progress cause of school beginning but we are getting there.

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I'll see what I can do :) The shape gave me a lot of trouble in general.

Thanks, yours is looking great so far too :)

Little detail I've noticed with your dash but the edges are a bit too sharp, especially around the center console. If you look at the real thing its really very typical 90's melty and very rounded off edges. You could mess with the edge smoothing or try just widening out the edge bevels a little.

This pic might help a little getting the overall shape, its quite an awkward shape to model though :p

At the moment it looks like this

    (imported from here)

It has 5700 beams and 1000 nodes where grand marshall has 3700 beams and 600 nodes or t75 8000 beams and 1300 nodes. It is maybe a little more demanding to a regular car but any half decent processor should be able to run it nicely :) I get solid 60 fps with it where I get around 35-50 with the t75 (xeon 1230v3 @ 3.7GHz).

No, no, I'm not making pretty renders just because it'll make people think I'm still working on it.

Yes, I am still working on it, honest.

No, that's not a joke- yes, I have made progress but I'll be buggered if you're going to see anything.

Somehow I had a template of a twin axle trailer laying around and I have a HD Dually D-series... It had to happen.
It's designed (it's still some work :p) to have the upfit easily replaced with another (flatbed, enclosed racing car trailer are ideas)
