IMO 3ds Max 2013 is the best as it has both Edge split and Smooth 30 options, I honestly wouldn't be able to model without those. Does 3ds Max 2010 have those aswell? Try THIS. I hadn't noticed this actually, thanks for telling. I've left the gaps and very little details for when I finish the basic model and stuff, which is still quite a far way to go.[/QUOTE] Also, any suggestions on my polyflow ?
It looks pretty solid however the doors could really use a few more loops. You should merge alot of those loops just above the wheel arch, they really dont need to go all the way across the hood like that, there's nothing wrong with a few triangles. Also curve those pillars Edit:This picture should give a rough idea of what it should be like, for the most part just try and keep loops of similar width and height all the way along the exterior body work. I too did some more work on the beamer... Yeah that break of mine I took from modeling.... Yeah that didn't last long after I ended up with way too much free time after I graduated...
I just started making the advertisement part of this, why is the mesh misaligned with the N/B skeleton?

It didn't work, but the vertex locations in Blender are the same as the node locations in BNG.Drive. I also can't seem to map the texture to it in-game. :/ You can break through it now. - - - Updated - - - Made some more progress on this, it's almost done. Just have to make the collision triangles, and maybe increase the number of nodes in the ad part of the billboard. !!Mute the video before watching, there's a weird, loud sound in it!! Remember I once put a D15 cab on a T75 frame? In between updating my mods I elaborated this T75/D15 mix idea. The front end is made from scratch so this time I'll have to UV the new parts It's mostly inspired by the Ford F600 with a bit of Chevy Kodiak. There's is a small hood, the fenders are fixed. What do you guys think? Are the proportions right? The original 10.6L L6 won't fit anymore, so I was thinking of reusing this engine but make a smaller diesel L6 (6.5 L?)version of it and making a larger petrol V10 (?) engine based on the original Gavril V8. Still wondering what to do with the gearbox, it's a bit far back; the firewall is further forward compared to the T75 cab. I reused some D15 drivetrain parts to make a driven front axle as well (It still needs some adjustments) I was thinking in making two frame lengths, a short one for a tractor trailer and a 'redneck style' pickup, a long one for a flatbed and a boxed upfit. I'm first updating my existing mods, so it will take a while before anything is released. And I really don't want to disrupt/interfere with the BNG teams idea's/plans etc.
I say do it dude! I love the heavy duty D-15's, the only problem i ever had with them was that the front end looked the same. Now this is a real HD D-15
Speaking of that... there'll eventually be a Gavril T65 with a single rear axle and shorter frame It's only logical. Need the ability to move parts so I don't have to duplicate the mudflaps, taillights, etc. from shortening the frame. That's what's stopping me from making a longer wheelbase heavy duty D25/D35 as well.
Couldn't you use the felxbodies section to your advantage and move them that way? Edit : Nevermind I get what you're saying
