So, I got kinda bored and decided that I would make another one of my favorite vehicles, the Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R.
I made one as my first vehicle but it really looked bad, so I decided that I would remake it.

This was only like 45 minutes of modeling so far, and constructive criticism is welcome, because I still think I don't really have a great polyflow:

Polyflow looks good. It just looks messy/wonky because your poly density is really inconsistent. Get your edgeloops spaced nicely and you'll get a neater model. The leading edge of the bumper is too sharp. Look into bevelling rather than setting them as straight up edges, or use control edgeloops.

Thanks! Yeah I used an updated dae file but the old materials file. It's already fixed, but didn't want to do that screenshot over. I was having about 2-3 fps so it took a while before every car was lined up.
There is no convertible planned, I think the t-top fits the era better (especially on non-full-size cars) and having a t-top and convertible is a bit redundant.

    Thanks!

Thanks! Coincidentally I already made a 'nosecone-gap-fillplate', to have it look like the Chevelle. There are two screens added, with and without spoilerlip. But I don't know... It looks like something missing or wrong, but I can't specify it. Any ideas?

BTW; nice RV! It's remarkable to see that there is almost as much body after the rear axle as there is in front of.
The caravan idea is great as well, tow hooks do work sort of right? I've been thinking about a classic Streamliner-ish caravan, but first I've to learn mapping etc. And I've got lots of other unfinished projects :p

And adding another idea which was suggested by many... wooden panels. Needs lots of adjustments but it looks nice I think.

I think he means that it looks kind of like someone used a big sticker with a picture of wood on it rather than actual wood.

    I think it looks fine.

I'd guess the wood plank texture is purely a placeholder to show as an example. It could be blurred up a bit and deepened to match
the real thing. Looking awesome AR.

It's a real car, and it's called the Datsun 1000.
Also, I think this is enough modeling for today.

Ah seeing you model this car is bringing up memories of a friend. Jake Jennings.. He imported an R33 don't ask me how all I know is it was legitimate. He went through all the expenses to make it a real deal. Got to ride in it and everything. He was a good guy. Hell of a friend. He got a call one day his friend Josh was broke down on interstate in his vw bug. Jake pulled up to help. Some idiot without a license must have been trying to show off idk... Lost control and hit the r33 and jake killing him. Severely injured Joshs gf who was with Josh. Josh died also. Was a horrible day..

Woah, that just got deep, I have a similar story to that sadly. A friends of mine was in his buddy's car when they got t-boned my a truck, his buddy was in hospital (can't remember exact details), but yeah, it was a bad crash.

Ummmmmm.... I already posted what the name was in the post itself? :/
    Also, like I said, it's a 1986, not a 1988...

And those pics are incredibly easy to find, I've had them saved for a while now. The first pic(the blue one) is a longer model of the Fleetwood Bounder(which has 2 doors on the side, rather than 1), I'm almost sure the 2nd pic is a modern Bounder because the older ones don't have slidey-outy-things, completely different vehicle. 3rd one is a pic I already had. I understand you try to help and I'm sorry if I'm gonna sound like an dick saying this, but these kinds of things happen a lot when I just ask if anyone has measurements in here when I'm working on something... Let me put it this way. When I ask "It would be nice if someone could go out and measure one if they happen to know one near them", it means all I'm after is measurements from someone who can actually go out and measure one themselves(so not measurements from online either, because I know there's plenty of measurements online, however they all contradict). But what I'm definitely not asking for is random pictures :p

I like the spoilerlip idea, but it's kinda... too straight? It has too little detail imho... But Um, for the Laguna, I mean like, the whole headlights part. Everything in front of the hood and fenders from a 74 Laguna! Chevelle is different from the Laguna because the Laguna has the bumper molded into the fiberglass, looks much more badass :p
Laguna nosecone left, Chevelle on the right :p Lagunas have lights in the grille too, they're so awesome. I fell in love with it after seeing a Chevelle on /Big Muscle which had a Laguna nosecone on it. Can't be hard to make that for the Moonhawk even though the shape of the hood isn't quite the same, right? Especially if you already have the Chevelle one.

That means the model has no material assigned, you have to assign a material to the faces in the modelling program you use. Even if you set the materials in Beamng don't help, becasue the model just does not know what to use.

Nah, if the model has no material it just doesn't appear. He has a material, and has defined a diffuse texture that doesn't exist.
To solve that, either choose the correct texture in the material editor (although you need to reload the vehicle (or the game) to show up correctly).
Or edit the material.cs manually and make sure to define a correct diffuse texture path.
