I've actually used that a ton! It's the best jbeam tutorial out there IMO, and it's actually what got me started :).

First time making jbeam from scratch. Fortunately, its stiff and not-self-destructible. Still hasn't collision tringlage and stuff, but I am proud of it.

Doesn't appear to be, at least not at this stage. My n/b is less flexy which might hide the framerate more because in theory it shouldn't be any less "intense". I don't exactly know if it's true but I always get the feeling that a slightly wobbly(or unstable, for that matter) n/b wrecks the framerate much more than a stable one(as in: spring/damp low and mass high, relative to eachother) that doesn't flex as much over bumps, even with an equal amount of nodes/beams. Regardless of that, I'll probably include an option with single n/b dually rear wheels(so physics-wise it's treated as 2 wheels instead of 4), should help a little bit.

In theory though, it should be pretty close to the T65 with a cargo box, because same size/shape and same amount of wheels. But to me the RV feels smoother, but that might be placebo. Guess I'll try it out :)

EDIT: Yeah, must be placebo. It's maybe 1fps higher... Bear in mind that even though you only see the frame of the RV, the entire bodyshell is n/b'ed ;)

    Joeyfuller2000 & My project:

I cleaned up the model, fixed the origins and fixed the material. It's slapped on a Sunburst jbeam right now.

Also keep in mind triangles and flexbodies also strain the cpu, so final FPS is probably lower.

Is that your model? that Impala looks a lot like mine:

    impaler.jpg

Not saying that it is (I would need a wireframe), but it certainly looks really close.
