Holy cow did you have a brainstorm? I freaking like it, I'll try and base it off of that drawing Thanks man! EDIT: Imma take this oportunity to say I'm still open for any jbeam collaborators
I'm currently working on the new C-Class (w205) and I just wanted to show you my current progress. I'm pretty happy with the model since it looks way better than expected. Thanks to Racer19 for the wheels.
I like it. This looks fine to me. - - - Updated - - - I mean seriously, I do like this truck. I'd like to see it in-game.
That looks brilliant! Love Mercs and the polyflow looks great as well! would love to see some more of it!
Nou don't. Change some stuff that was just a quick drawing to lead you into a possible direction Can I haz beta?
Some progress from the last couple of days, working in-between college doesn't help but its coming along well. I've mainly been working on final interior improvements. I finalised all of the main interior textures with their suitable leather, cloth and plastic for the normals and diffuse. I also UV mapped, AO'd and normal mapped the wheels. (interior carpets aren't mapped yet, so these are solid colours for the time being)
One day... I'm going to do my best to make an R/C Covet when I have time. No promises, I have no idea what I'm doing. Just a fun project.
Gotta add some coltris and some thrusters for it to (maybe) fly and it'll be done! ETA: About 30 minutes or more.
My second model ever i created from scratch. and tbh, im kinda proud of myself xD I only made the dish of the SSR SuperStar. the outer rim is a original beamng rim.
I want smooth shading on this model, and am not so sure how i should go about it. The steering wheel and the side mirror have smooth shading as I imported them from the BX. How would I get this shading consistent (get the smoothness of the steering wheel in the car body.
So I wanted to do something different to the interior, I looked into buggies and found many to have window netting. Prefer with or without? (imported from here) (imported from here)
There's a "shading" button in the tools tab, that will change the shading of what you have selected. Also, your normals look like they're facing the wrong direction. You can check this by pressing "N" the scrolling down to "Mesh Display" in the toolbar that pops up. Open the drop-down then click the "Faces" icon. This has to be done in Edit Mode. Where the small blue lines are pointing are where the normals are facing. To fix this quickly: in Edit Mode select the faces you want to fix then press CTRL+N; this should, most of the time, get the normals facing the right direction.
