Is that MICRACERs or did you make it yourself? If it is his make sure to ask for permission and give him credit.
Totaly make by myself, the MICRACERs Showtime is not enough detailed for me. I have much more details on this model and the structure is on the right size. I have only redo the wheels like his second type. The proof is that it is model on alias software with surfaces, not with polygons like blender or 3DS MAX. If you have some doubt I can made a VS pictures to show the difference between the two models.
Looks identical to my untrained eye just the pipe thickness has been reduced. Also I downloaded Elvisnake pic for comparison its name was "showtime" which is odd. Here a pic of the showtime buggy in RoR(i flipped it for comparison). Even the engine look the same, the only major difference is the front axle. If needed I will remove this post. Corvette (I know this isn't my place to be saying this but just thought it might be helpful)
Dennis was being sarcastic... Which, admittedly doesnt work well over text Wait nope. Yeah, actually there are a few minute differences. Dont post tired, kids.
I wasn't, the geometry clearly is different. Don't put words in my mouth. @corvette81: showtime is a buggy that exists in real life
I am convinced, the pics Dennis-W showed seem quite different in some areas, since MICRACER helped me out i don't wont to see his work ripped off Otherwise it is looking good and i can't wait to drive it
My 2 pence worth. I can see quite a few difference's myself. Some of the pipes appear to be on a slightly altered angle and there do appear to be mounting points for that front black part which are absent in the other model
Ah well if the buggy is real then it makes sense why they are the same and I take take back any assumptions I made on the matter. Sorry Elvisnake was not meant to be personal. Corvette
made some sort of an aerodynamic race car (imported from here) (imported from here) very light weight chassie, whole car weights around 400-500kg. naturally aspirated 4 cylinder DOHC 2.3L W.I.P.
Going to Kenya for a week or two so don't expect much in the way of progress from me, but here is the start of my latest project: Its going to be an 8 wheeler, something like the Tatra 813 but of my own design. This is just the start of the chassis^ I have had fun modelling about 5 different trailers in preparation for the T-75 including some seriously heavy/abnormal loads so I hope to make this with a fifth wheel as an option in-case the T-75 doesn't have the grunt / off-Roading capability to pull them around the hills. It has double C beams at the rear of the chassis as the basic version will be a rigid load bearing truck, the kind you see hauling aggregate around Robbie
You need to use alot less vertices with your cylinders. I use 8 on my 450r's frame and with a edge split modifier and the games shading on mesh makes it look pristine and smooth. <- 8 Sided cylinders. - - - Updated - - - Looks great man! You need to seperate all of the parts, export it into blender and set up groups though. Every operational piece on the vehicle needs a specific group.
Trying to map these nodes and beams out for the chassis as well as development the suspension, all meshes are ready though (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here) If you can help with the jbeams hit me here > http://www.beamng.com/threads/6494-Singh-s-BMW-E30-M3-Just-for-Practice?p=81075#post81075
Lord Jesus this is satisfying. (imported from here) (imported from here) Normalmapping this is gonna rock.
