My only suggestion, widen the front. It gets too narrow after the front wheels, if you look at the real thing you can see its a lot wider & covers the front wheels more, Also there needs to be an indentation for the front license plate. other than that it looks awesome.
Been working on a skin with design elements matching the year of the old Pessima. Inspired by McRae's Rothmans Subaru Legacy. Little snippet, cropped because I haven't done other side yet
Update: Already fixed the Kenwood logo (not pictured), still need to align the front stripes with the hood.
Why not do a Grip-all or Nodeline livery? and something Yeah, bad drawing skill, try to guess what am I drawing (I'm not sure if I should post this here, but each post must contain a picture or contributing according to the thread title)
It obviously says Gavril. So probably a derivitive of the Gavril from BNG, or the one from RoR. Drawing looks good so far. Keep it up. hope to see the finished drawing.
Not sure if I like the drift livery on the old Pessima. Oh well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Excuse the Photoshop overkill, I went a little ham on it.
It is a Gavril the '72 Grand Marshall The production will be from 1972 to 1981, there will be many facelifts between 9 years, but the chassis and powertrain will be the same. I got this idea after saw AR162B's "mysterious screenshot" It will be body on frame, will have 2-door hardtop version, 2-door coupe version, 4-door hardtop, basic 4-door sedan, 4-door wagon and 2-door convertible. I used lots of similar design from the Bandit and many early 70s full-sizes. I tried to make this car doesn't looks like any 70s car in the real life and keep it looks cool in the same time. It will have 353 cui V8 and 423 cui V8 which are from Barstow, RWD, 4-speed manual and 3-speed automatic as optional. some other pictures: 2-door hardtop w/ vinyl roof station wagon sorry for bad drawing skill and English I will not make it into BeamNG because I can't do any modeling. I have seen a lot of tutorials of Blender, but they are just keep confusing me, and I don't have a lot of time. Wish @gabester like it and it maybe will be a official vehicle one day
There are other programs other than Blender3D. Like Autodesk 3DsMax or AC3d. And qute a few others. But learn 3DsMax. It seem like a great program, and I wish to learn it myself one of these days, but good luck to you with whichever one you choose. I hope to see you learn a decent modeling program. Tutorials are key to getting to know a modeling program, so keep that in mind.
This is a bit of a late reply, but it is worth noting that his screenshot is in orthographic mode, which is to say, without perspective. If the camera were in a similar spot and had perspective, it would look much closer to your screen (perhaps not perfect; you're our resident Holden expert and would know better than I).
I get what you're saying & you could be partially right in this case but I am quite positive that the VE has a wider front
More things for the Dutch Map i'm working on. If you get lost now, atleast you can't blame me, because i'm working on Navigational signs as well. Compared to a Real Life sign (note that the image below has a color adjusted version) The map will revolve around a fictional highway called the A3 (There were plans for an A3, but it was never built. Mine will be in the northern part of our country, as a faster connection between Heerenveen and Assen, Biem is not an actual town. It's the fictional town that will be featured in the map. The N723 Also isn't an actual road, all the roads from my map are fictional, but inspired on the dutch road networks. Biem is a nod to Beam As you pretty much pronounce it the same way.
Couldnt someone pick this up please? Its such a great mod but it is outdated and has many issues now I understand that its a lot of work to model a car (Im not a modder) but therefore I think it would be good if old mods could be updated. Also i cant think of a reason why the creator of this mod would dislike someone else to work on it since he hasnt updated the car since 2014.
