working on nomi gauges for the sbr4. i hope i'll be able to make them work after i finished this and the glowmaps.
What have I created? hahaha --- Post updated --- ...and how it's supposed to look like (don't mid the wired parts on the front lip)... ...some early mudflaps.
I randomly resurrected a project that I've had abandoned for some time now, I think I've never shared anything about it in the forum, so here's some exclusive footage of it : (I was using some cheap TrackIR system, good to play around, hopefully the camera movement doesn't annoy too much) It's an agile and quick ultralight helicopter (the Mosquito XE). The model and textures are quite simple (and they were done quite some time ago). Go here to see the 3D model: https://goo.gl/PsALZv. But it's main strong point is it's flying capabilities. It has some neat flying physics based on a realistic aproximation of an helicopter flight. The rotor has constant RPMs, and the control is achieved via the individual change in each of the blade's angle of attack in each moment. Featuring an accurate swashplate mechanism (achieved with pure jbeam and hydros, no faking code involved). In fact, it's even kind of possible to do a successful autorotation (aka landing without engine power). Flying this thing with a joystick is a blast . The degree of control that it provides is massive, and has great responsiveness. You might be flying as fast as a car, and at the next moment you are hovering with huge precision over something static. (oh, and if anyone's wondering, the SuperCub project is also progressing nicely -> http://goo.gl/FTMf8f) Utah is one of the best things that could have happened to BeamNG in this point in time when it comes to flying, and it doesnt even have any proper airstrip! (as far as i know).
Here is the suspension concept I was working on for the RG Vortexx, the black bar (reference) is where the bottom shock absorber goes. I'm not sure if that's what a buggy suspension looks like but that's my concept so let me know if it looks good or not.
Ahh, ok I'll tweak that later to make it look like that though the bottom arm looks like it so it'll be easier.
Added few things to the starting area, And added a new coast like village which wasnt planned but looks pretty nice
No videos today, but have some pics of what i`m working on at the moment Some offroad mudding trail, on the "Suspension testing" map
after many ideas and sketches i decided the skin for the Touge 200BX, Keeping things simple appears to be the best way
