That is definitely something you should consider releasing. Looks good. It reminds me of the Water hazard level in Half Life 2.
well. the suspension actually works now. kinda. its got some issues also i dont think this is healthy
Just wanted to say that I (somehow?) fixed the Miramar widebody's suspension, so no help needed anymore.
Don't want to make it seem spammy, but heh, since you mentioned it , I've been making a prototype working helicopter with cyclic/collective control: http://www.beamng.com/threads/devel...r-contributing-post.1575/page-345#post-357454 (the video doesn't show much, apart from the fact that it shows how controllable it is ) And I think I might not be the first one making an "advanced" helicopter either, so yeah, it's possible to make them in BeamNG , mine is far from perfect, and a bit simplified, but it works. It's hard to tell from your gif, but it looks like you've made some important progress! I wish you the best with this project, hopefully you get something usable! Good luck.
Huh, you are further than me now...I'll probably convert mine in a station wagon then, since I've already made the doors and stuff.
Looking good! And yeah, haha, flying an helicopter with a keyboard is close to a nightmare . BeamNG supports custom inputs, and that's all you need. Create a file called "input_actions.json" in your vehicle folder. The content for that file looks like this for me: Code: { "cyclic_pitch" :{"order": 1, "onChange":"electrics.values.cyclic_pitch = VALUE", "isCentered":true, "title": "Cyclic (Pitch)", "desc": "" }, "cyclic_roll" :{"order": 2, "onChange":"electrics.values.cyclic_roll = VALUE", "isCentered":true, "title": "Cyclic (Roll)", "desc": "" }, "collective" :{"order": 3, "onChange":"electrics.values.collective = VALUE", "title": "Collective", "desc": "" }, "antitorque_pedals" :{"order": 4, "onChange":"electrics.values.antitorque_pedals = VALUE", "isCentered":true, "title": "Anti-torque Pedals", "desc": "" }, } Then, link your hydros to the new created inputs, i.e., instead of using throttle or steering as your "inputSource" in the hydros, you should now use "collective", "cyclic_pitch" etc. Your file might need to be different, change the names or entries as you need. And now, the only thing left to do is to go to the Controls menu in-game (with the helicopter loaded) and assign your joystick axis to the inputs! And you are good to go . Let me know if you have any further doubts!
Oh, wait no. Happens to me too. Seems like one of the latest updates has broken it. I had configured my joystick inputs some time ago and it worked, but now seems like I cannot change it any more, (same problem as you), and I'm stuck with the current set up. So, I don't know, I guess it's up to the devs to fix it :|. Actually, there's a way to change those settings manually if you want to go through the trouble.
Map is far from being finished. Main canal is 50% of what i planned. More bulding in background will be added and maybe more details to canals. New graphitti decals will be added. However its already fun to drive around it.
well... im also doin that map... dont mind the car and the ui, these pictures are from an older build of the game.
Your map looks more like GTA V while Babcia's map is GTA SA like. I'd be cool to have both versions of the canal.
