Nah, made this 'aaaalll byyy myseeelff' did this today and yesterday, most of it today when I was taking a break from studying.

Issues are:
Mesh is not perfect on the covet, rear needs a bit of attention.
Jbeam of the bolide tailgate is wobbly and could be better.
Materials on bolide body are a bit screwed up since I haven't touched the UV maps (as @Nadeox1 wanted )
Forgot to edge split on the bolide body (stupid me).
What does it add:
Covet:
A rally body with custom jbeam for covet with a rally front bumper (edited okudai) with changed jbeam.
Rally fenders, with again edit jbeam.
V6 engine, originally made by @nahuelito007 (only released with his permission if he gives it), but edited by me to work with .8.
Rally suspension with more track width option.
4wd for the 6spd.
For the bolide:
A cabriolet body with custom tailgate, doors and tailcone, all jbeamed.

Plans:
Make the covet mid engined, won't be hard to do, but I think it will be more fun. And even harder to drive though.
Add a differential and driveshaft mesh to the covet on the rear. That is going to be an copy paste from the pessima or another rwd car.

 

now that i think about it, Beam Ng is lacking in small dev cars, something french or italian

If you have the motivation to finish your build @wrinkle345 i could send you my set of widened Folk ET73's. 12 inch front with a 295mm tyre and 13 inch rear with a 315mm tyre. I planned on making an undertray so that i could put extra downforce on the bottom of the car as well as a rear diffuser for even more.

 

Hmmm... maybe there is such a thing as too much horsepower....

 

It looks like it runs as hot as the sun

 

It would look better if there was less of a trunk.

 

how do you guys like this?
mesh work is now(pic was earlier today) finished, only changing some jbeam stuff since I made the engine too small at first. If everything goes right, expect a 40/60 something weight distribution

 

Is this going to be mid-engined?

Maybe you should consider some air vents in the flared rear fenders, a-la-R5?
