They are actually improving their quality. I've worked on a lot of cars. Probably if I could put together a list Suzuki would be on the top. Complete junk. Next in line would be Chevrolet, get butthurt nation, but my experience with Chevy and everyone I know that owns one 75% of them have problems. Hyundai has moved on my list to better quality than Mitsubishi. Mitsubishi has only one vehicle and that's the Evo. Every thing else is utter junk. Most of my experience is with Mitsubishi and God Lord their horrible. Hyundai, then pretty much everything evens out from here. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
Nissan. They are total crap. I was in a Pulsar recently & It felt as if it was going to die at any given moment. I reckon, Holden, Ford, Toyota & Mazda are really the only good affordable car brands out there.
I had a nissan micra as a courtesy car while mine was in for repairs. The plastics were real cheap feeling but they were actually fairly solid. Driving position was really uncomfortable and the car was fugly but it did feel rather solidly built and for a cheap car actually drove ok. I wouldn't ever own one, but it wasn't too terrible Toyota are picking up a bit of a reputation for being poor quality over here. Mazda I don't hear anything good or bad about at all, I guess if you're after a little family car then thats a good thing. Holden are of course aussie only, although they still utilise too much GM crap for my liking and GM are just that - crap.
Yeah some of the cheaper Nissan's are absolute crap. The Nissan Primera really comes to mind, at like 5 years old those things were about £500 at most in really good condition, they just fell to pieces like a French car... Older and more high spec Nissans are much better though.
Built nissan parts at a factory. The new altimas maximas etc suck Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
I´d like to see some development screens, not talk about how crappy some other car is compared to other...
Does this satisfy? Thanks to Mythbuster for letting me use the tires in a few renders until I decide which id like to make. Anyone have a good method on modeling door-jams? Ive started but it looks like utter garbage. Also did some work on the chassis, fixing up some stuff. Hollandais is French for Hollander. You have to say it right for it not to sound like Hyundai. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
Finished up the original skin for the capri, also some interior work (fire extinguisher, seatbelts, new ao bake...) and tada; a ford emblem!
Would love to see what you did to the fenders on that "offroad racer" that makes them have enough ground clearance... I can see you adding about 10 cm of ground clearance, and that's still WAY too little. You'll have to redesign pretty much the entire fenders OR lowered the suspension mounting points+ entire suspension to get anything more than that, and I doubt you basically redesigned half the vehicle in the short amount of time it took you to respond with "oh I already fixed it"... I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you *think* you fixed, when in reality, you really didn't... And no. You can't get away with just lowering("pre-compressing") the wheels down from under the body, because if your control arms aren't level, it will handle horribly. Also, yes Hyundai is one of the suckiest brands. They have no imagination, and have never created ANYTHING that contributed to advancing the car industry. Same with Daewoo and Kia. Sure, for regular people they might be decent cars. But they've never done ANYTHING that other brands could learn from, they've never achieved anything really, and on top of that, they never went "let's build something that's just a bit daft"... That's what makes a brand good, imho. Hyundai is the least worst out of those 3, for making the S-Coupe/Scoupe/SCoupe(?) imho. Even though I loath Peugeot, Citroen, and Renault, they all have achieved things: Peugeot made some very good hot hatches, Citroen had the 2CV(great affordable car back in the day) and the old DS, and then a buncha other stuff I dont care about really, and Renault had the Renault 5 Turbo and Renault 4 and stuff like that... I can't talk about newer Chevrolets, I just know that old Chevys are a lot easier to work on in terms of room in engine bay than the cars we had in Europe, or cars from Japan. I can tell that from just looking at pictures. Okay, german cars being an exception... And yes, I'm a sucker for old American and <2000 German cars, can you tell? Anyway... I'm gonna go take this up Pikes Peak now, and then off to bed. Hmm... Another racecar? Hmm??...
I see what you mean there, I'm redesigning the whole suspension system atm, but here's what I got so far. (imported from here)
Omg...cant wait for that. This pic explains it.. A well made drag strip with a timer and a top fuel -- ...and my BeamNG wishes have been granted
