My first two-tone skin is producing some unexpected results ... I think that this is a result of some kind of coding error.
Awesome I will try that for sure ! but, was this : "Map: Beamng Game: Beamng My Life: My dad and mom. My computer: Acer and HP My chair: Don't know Textures for map: Beamng My ability to exist: Biology Addition to Map: Me." Needed, necessary ?
Digital dashboard work. This is not final at all. More will change between dashboard modes when it is done. This is more of a proof of concept I guess.
Is there a _UV1 in the filename? With those skins, if there is no _UV1 attached to it, it will have strange outcomes. Here's an example: Mycolorableskin_UV1.yourfiletype
Yes, there is, but the problem could also be due to the fact that I'm trying to make another modder's skin two-tone. They've got an odd file system going, and it appears that they somehow managed to make working skins using .png files instead of .dds files! In other news, I figured out some of the kinks in our Deluxe Skin - Now it's just a matter of cleaning up the edges around the rear fenders, fixing the small gap in the stripes between the side and rear panels, and trying to patch some of the holes up front.
Lots of work done on the Velocita, but I broke the locations of the body and some other parts. For some reason apply location (ctrl+a) refuses to work, even though it was working perfectly earlier. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
You are gonna need to give more info than that. It could be that you have moved things inside of edit mode, it could be that you haven't used 'a' to select everything before doing ctrl+a. If you put something in the mod support sub forum with some screenshots of your blender file (object mode + edit mode of at least one of the effected parts) and the image from this post I am sure it will get seen to fairly quick. If you are ok with sharing the blender file possibly faster.
i wonder how many times ill crash before actually being able to drift on this track. (i suck at drifting)
So... before my previous graphic card melted for no reason, I was training on Jbeam & Textures, I fixed most of it today, the deformation is way better.. there is some mistakes in the seat's texture, but its a training.... (wheels & skin might be from a mod, I only made bucket seat & rollcage) Psss, the day I made the seat and the rollcage, I was way more... inspired, made a bunch of variants, choice between X cross bars, V, inversed V, one bar, some invented designs too, nascar types, and had planned some american type dragster, one with the bars around the driver's seat for example. I also made window nets, I may have an idea to make it behave like a net, we'll see. Could be a pack one day ? If I finish my main project first About my main project : is currently in a bad state, had to resize a lot of it, front reworked, engine size etc, have to redo exhaust system, middle and rear are still ongoing, although I did make a nice front pivot for wheels which took me hours, was a complex piece.... Also done 95% of the front suspension (still need to make the top fixation of the shock), then will come the steering and the rest when all will be scaled correctly.
Some time ago I showed of a script for beamng, gonna expand this to a full fledged game in beamng lol. Have a guess what this is from
