Depends, I just started learning how to do some stuff and the way I make textures might not allow for a skin. I could mess around a but with it. I have a lot to make and fix though. OT: Fixed wheel and axle placement and window_int from having a black line in interior. Fixed Smashed glass so it no longer has weird blueish glass line. Fixed front turn-signal to be located on main light cluster (No longer attached to fender): May try to add burnout paradise colors and fix lights, separate interior door panels
Getting help on the saloon with crashmaster and The Shotty . Meanwhile, I'll see what happens with these since I don't have a clue about UV mapping . Guess I will stick to using .dds paint until then
Emergency service version of that SUV? Because some new(er) American vehicles is really REALLY needed.
No Guarantees. Remember, I am still super new to modeling and working w/ BeamNG. OT: This SUV lines up pretty good to the Roamer, And looks mean with the off road stuff. Lol!
Times when i miss the days that i can still mod....Love and hate this thread at the same time --- Post updated --- Uploaded the blind update for the DTS. Fixed some issues, i think (Swap files and stuff but can't test it....so i call it the blind update) --- Post updated --- Some are good. You just have to know where to look
Another glorious w.i.p. Still need to fix an issue with normals on the body, where the rear wheels are located, and get some basic textures for the lights. And maybe change that badge too! Also, the black lines on the side of the hood are from the roamers engine, so Ill fix that when I learn how to engine swap I hope .
decided to make it in beamng. just started the jbeam. redid the entire engine compartment. i ended up loving this car more and more. i hate the fact that i cant texture anything properly tho. also, giving some love to the front
I ended up using only the 3d model for the 406, it was slap on the GM (RWD) Jbeam which didn't make any sense since the 406 is FWD and have a rear independent suspension. I still don't really how to edit the Jbeam, well I do, but sometimes when I move a beam a bit too far it won't load in-game. Same goes with the suspension, If I move it will just broke.
ikr, i always look here for the very best ones jbeams are very delicate A lot of it depends on what nodes you move and how you move them. Particularly with suspensions, if you move nodes about within the hub it can cause problems.
True, but you're probs better off just finding the source of the model (be it from a game, made by Carface ect...) and obtain it directly. Wouldn't surprise me if the modsgaming modders damage the model with their dirty soviet fingers OT:
