Hey everyone, I'm doing an Audi RS7. I won't post a new the progress. The reason is that I don't want to have a spam thread where they are asking whether the mod had died. I post this because I don't want somebody else is doing the same car. This Model is from GTA5.
It seems like a good technique for getting likes is spamming the Development Screenshots with random vehicles you've made on Blender. Heck I have probably 15 3D models. How many likes is that?
photoshop tried stopping me the other day and now BeamNG itself is... but I managed to make custom instrument textures (based on a skin)
Well isnt this forum for mods that are going to be released possibly? --- Post updated --- Wasn't developing sarcasm. Funny joke though. See that vipers coming along nicely
Working on the jbeam files again...and some texture treatment too --- Post updated --- Update: Best of my photoshop skills....good enough to pull a Cadillac Logo on the rims Might need more work
Finally got the muscle car drone from survival. I still need to merge faces and other stuff though by hand since decimate in blender deteriorates the shape to much Polyflow is way better on the drone at least (since it isnt a usual player car) . Cars 345+7 need triangles converted to quads. Ill try my best with all of these.
Wow, i love S/S, it's an awesome game. You're doing a great job on the meshes so far. It looks like the front end on the Hanzo Indus is a little too flat, I remember it sticking a little out.
Remember that Blender's decimate has three different modes: collapse (the default), un-subdivide, and planar. I might recommend un-subdivide for this process. And, ALT+J will convert all selected tris to quads automatically. That said, expect this to be pretty dodgy, legally speaking. Split/Second is a Disney-owned IP, and Disney may well have enough lawyering expertise to sue even the universe itself.
I thought it looked fine, but maybe there could be a skew on both axis? I dont know if I can fix it if there was tbh. I figured that I would take these down if they ever requested that. I've been using tris to quads on most where the smoothing doesn't become to horrible. I gave unsubdividing a shot and im not sure if its worth it. Does shave off a good 9 thousand faces but at a noticeable cost. I have also used a bit of ngons to merge faces where there are simply to many. Also considering that they fired the blackrock and discontinued the dlcs and online,I figured they basically had abandoned it. I get it's there content though and will respect if they don't want it shared . I also saw a post of the brawler for trackmania that had been made. http://www.trackmania-carpark.com/car.php?id=2322
Diseny does owns Split/Second, but they could care less. This prototype is all we know about Split/Second 2. It looks bad ass, but it seems Disney was not impressed with the sales of the game, cancelling what could of been an amazing sequel that ironicly, probably would have got them the sales they wanted. Same thing with Ridge Racer. After Bugbear made Ridge Racer Unbounded, fans were pissed off that it wasn't a Ridge Racer style game, and it was received terribly from fans, even though it was a fun game. After that disaster, Namco tried to make another Ridge Racer game, but cancelled it. I am pretty sure both companies could careless. Even with EA and Burnout, they haven't made a Burnout game since 2011. I am pretty sure @Chevy1980s has nothing to worry about.
Anybody remember this ? Redid: front sub-frame and floor board (still need to sort rest of bottom), rear door panels (which were clipping), Headlight housing (clipping). All the parts are sorted. Looking to see if I can get the fictional police models out of NFS Undercover instead 4 better quality.. This was from Carbon. (I removed some police stuff as if it were a civilian version.
