When renaming, say if you're using notepad++ and do the replacer's find-in-files /east_coast_USA/ to replace with /anotherflatmap/ (same for a car mod etc just names are different) it will make sure that the other files like filenames in your main mission (or car config) file aren't accidentally renamed etc, because you included the trailing and leading slash-character. Failure to do so can cause your mod to fail in odd ways. Always do backups of the whole directory before bulk-renaming. This applies to anything where you based your map off default, or other modded content where you don't want it to conflict. Please keep on topic folks, otherwise the Moderators will put us in the angry porcupine pit for-sure ... They're already beating the porcupines to make them angry.
