I started making a minivan based on the Pessima platform. I had no idea how I'd make sliding doors, so this minivan is based heavily on the first generation Honda Odyssey, which did not have sliding doors. It's in a pretty rough state right now, but I though it looked decent enough to share.

The next step is the rear. I need to fill in the holes around the bumper, and finish the rear hatch. I'm planning on making the taillights in a style similar to the Honda CR-V, if that makes any sense.

The current UV maps are also just placeholders. I’m going to add colorable trim and the like in the future.

Well, thanks for reading this, I suppose. :3

    EDIT: CR-V, not CR-Z. :p

Is the rear currently that of a modified Covet? That is most definitely a Covet hatch...

Indeed it is, albeit slightly modified. It’ll be changed more in the future to better fit the car, especially since the Covet hatch is far too short for the van. I wanted this van to share similar parts to other cars if it’s era, like how the Covet and old Pessima share similar headlights and general design features. It also serves as a nice starting point, as I’m not great yet at making things from scratch.

For someone who "isn't yet great at making things from scratch" you're doing a really good job so far

The 1st gen Odyssey is one of my all time favourite vehicles, they just hold a special place in my heart. Am very excited to see this.

My only critique is that the front of it is a bit too long for a minivan and the front should also slope down a bit. I'd suggest extending the windscreen & having a front quarter window like on the Odyssey, and maybe lengthen the rear doors.

Great job so far tho :)

I suggest disabling the normal map for now as it seems to be making the model look far worse than it is. Otherwise a good concept, will be good to see how it goes :)

I hope that this peoplecarriermpvminivan thing will actually end up being released unlike the other two.

Well there is an obvious reason why the Ibishu Guide was never completed, not that I want to get into it.
