I almost say what changed until I saw the 200bx in left
off topic, but how did you make that depth of field?
Welp What have I done.
(Can you guess the car?)
Not what car I made it from, I mean the car I based it off in real life!
It was gonna be an excursion but close enough
ETK - "404"? :OOOO
Hi, I'm back, heh
ETK - 404 "Not your usual granny driven, compact, 4-door sedan"
Base model: i4 NA
Luxury: i5 NA, with optional "Sport Tune(NA)" available at purchase. (Although, aftermarket turbo-kits do exist.)
Sport: i4 Turbo
Sleeper: i6 swapped from ETK-i
Drift: High revving i4 Turbo
More pics might come!
looks like a homologation rally car!
suggestion, maybe shorten the front end, and flatten/point it a bit, like a bmw M1
made a quick RWD system
Sick does it use stock engines?
THE BOB has officially made something in Maya LT.
"But wait, THE BOB doesn't know how to model!?"
I encourage everyone to take a look at this program as, there are ways to export/convert to Collada, and it can do hierarchy (from what I know, and conversion is an outside app they provide). You can try the demo for 30 days, this is not a paid advert, but the modeling is a dream. Texturing, yes, texturing, oh dear *looks at his hair on the floor* ... I pulled all that out, in frustration, as both my dogs have already run out of hair by this point, too. Texturing is not intuitive - but the modeling is a dream. I can't say the least good about Blender, having given up after days of trying.
The reason I am saying this, is that, I got a sponsor to purchase this program for me, on the count that I provide Beamng maps. I've got a city map that I'm officially starting THIS MONTH and more improvements to Roane County along the way *cough... those sidewalks I have made out of mesh roads, stink Cough Cough*.
No where have I found the awesome bridge that's "everywhere" in the south since the 80's or so ... it's everywhere, at-least, It seems like it. I am sure in Florida you see them everywhere, Louisiana too.
What does this mean? Well, for starters, I can finally do a LOT of things I've been wanting to do, to improve ALL of my maps. ALL of them (in due time, of course). I am learning this, as I want to create things. But I can't make 100% anything I want, I can only assemble things from pre-made pieces. Now I can make those pieces.
Going to kick the game up a notch. So look for more good things in the future. I don't know what it will bring, but it will be some of my best mapping efforts yet (if all goes well), as I always say (and I would hope I have delivered!). Trying to keep things efficient, but the poly count is in the corner of the shot if you can judge (I dunno if poly count is good, but that's full detail, all is present but the bridge beams underneath, as they'll be a separate piece, so you can pick and choose from various assortment of beams, pillars, abutments (ends underneath bridge), and other bridge 'furniture').
Again, my map models will have built-in collision, feature Level-of-Detail / billboards from afar, and be free for everyone to use when they are out in the wild (on the Repository).
Now where's a ruler... ?
--Committed to the BeamNG community here (Because building in Fallout 4 or blowing up BoomRats in RimWorld just won't do ALL the time).
You can compare to a bridge here, Scenic Dr. in Roane County.
That's kinda what I wanted to do, but when it has this long front end you can see all kinda cars popping in. Audi Quattro, Volvo 360, Saab 9-3 etc.
Also this way you can easily mix parts between this and etk-i, which makes it easier to manufacture, and a whole lot easier to find spare parts
I'll post a pic of the front later today when I get some spare time! c:
suburban-esque roamer? (also hasn't synsol made one of those?)
(not my pic btw)
just an idea
That would be awesome! Do you know if someone is working on it or is it just a mock up? it's a little over my current non-existing 3d-modelling skills
And here is a pic of the front, in comparison to the ETK- I.
It is meant to look "uglysih" haha, this is the base model with a 2.0L i4
I could start working on it
cool i have been waiting for this a long time
