Yes, there's 3 wheel/tire options right now, and 2 suspension heights that can be interchanged in game.

What happened to that Ford Hot Rod you were making earlier in the thread?
Are you going to release that and the Cherokee?

I'm sorta like a teenage girl in that, I change my mind often about projects. I plan to release the Jeep though.

Too bad, the Rod looked great. I'd love another off road crawler ish type car in the game though.
The D15 and the Silverado is getting a little bit boring after countless hours of trailrunning :p

In collaboration with Reginald I made a road from the bottom to the top in the "Leap Of Death" map and none of the stock 4x4's made it even half way to the top.
The off road version of the silverado with the 7.4l v8 made it. Barely. Sleepypickups d15 mod made it though.
Just waiting for Reginald to release the updated map. Be sure to check it out :)

While I do love that jeep, isn't the body too small for those massive offroad tires? I mean, don't they clip the body while turning?

At any rate, will look forward to your release as per usual :)

i never learned how to spawn 2 cars because my computer can't handle it. I would spawn lots of cars in ror though, because removing them crashed the game a lot :p

Nope. Bounded beams for the win. :) They change per wheel too, so smaller wheels can come closer to the fenders.

    HellJeep...
    4XLop.jpg

Designed to go anywhere, at any speed, in any way.

Those tires are properly UV'ed btw, hoping to put some really nice textures on them. They are 4300 polygons each, sadly, but considering the tread is quite detailed, and the rest is reasonably low poly, I think I can get away with it.. Windshield still needs chopping, and that front axle isn't mine yet.

Are you going to make a stock Willy's Jeep, or will it just be the crawler?

Not just a regular crawler. It handles well at speed too. :) I like to call it a Baja-Crawler :p
But no, no stock Willys. Body will be almost completely stock though, straight fresh from a battlefield, with all the little detailing on it. Just some very tiny cuts and tricks to accomodate the huge wheels and enough suspension travel. I do know someone is making a stock Willys MB though, if that's what you're after.

EDIT@Below: Honestly, I have no idea... :p I work on it on and off, and work on body then suspension then body again etc. The body was probably like, max 2 hours to get dimensions right once I had proper blueprints, since it's really square... Most car bodies take a loooottt longer though.
