There was a 98 Pessima coupe mod, but that was part of the Variety Mod, which is unfortunately no longer supported.
Ok,i try it
Not necessarily needed, if you set break groups and then make mesh breakable like bus has, it makes some holes and jagged edges when beam is broken.
Front subframe of Moonhawk (or was it Barstow?) is also good to check out for break groups.
Separating mesh could work too, but then you would have always same kind of split.
I believe it is all in jbeam that allows you to do such.
It was the Barstow.
You don't have much node groups in there and almost all your beams and nodes are same weight. Now each node affects all of those flexbodies. If you look official cars they have small group of nodes affecting one bodypart.
For example mirror should be affected only nodes related to mirror, that is nodes near the mirror, you make those to be mirror group and so on.
Thank you very much for the help!
This has been done before, but I think it can be done better. Almost 1 hour of work so far (because I'm slow).
Somehow ended up with that even I should of done completely something else
Dude, I literally have made that exact same car before and from what I see it has the same problems mine had XD
hmmmmmm *first an12 meshslap*
seems about time for another SLRR based Toyota...
yes that is a small desk on the trunk
Have y´all been living under a rock? https://beamng.com/threads/vm-fix.36278/page-2#post-613661 that page has a file of the Fixed VM.
Does it use the Pigeon’s jbeam? Lol
Hood is cut:
But I think I need to lift engine a bit and maybe move it forward too, which is not good for weight balance, but there is no other way to get exhaust to fit I believe.
It is called Mirahawk, looks kinda innocent, has Moonhawk drag parts inside though:
I might depreciate the dansworth powertrain mod, the DT40L is much better anyway. So i'm porting over the gasoline engine to it, and have some other things up my sleeves for the DT40L, including a rather realistic 420hp turbocharger, (admittedly i have had that since the DT40L came out, just didn't bother to do it up).
Nope, it's still front engined, but I did design the rear window area based a lot on the "pillarless" design of the Previa and Sienna.
As for rounding out the front, I may do that a little bit, but I'm pretty happy with how it is now for the most part. It's a somewhat boxy minivan by design, and what I have planned for the back should really tie it together with a somewhat sporty but still somewhat utilitarian look (kinda like the Honda CR-V).
That being said, a mid-engine minivan would be very cool. Maybe for a future project... ⌒°(❛ᴗ❛)°⌒
But will it blend?
How long can it get
Not good enough, issues with clipping:
Kinda wanted to avoid making new body, but don't know how else I would move battery to trunk as there is bit of clipping issues with that too. I would need to make new belts etc. to move cylinder object from side of the engine to other side. I can't tell if it is Alternator, PS pump or AC compressor with texture detail in engine. Anyway if I retain slot compatibility it should still be kinda ok. with other mods.
Yeah need to lower that radiator a bit too.
Bigger radiator that helps a bit with overheating, but I would need to add another radiator to trunk with modified trunk lid as well as modifications to body to get enough cooling for Stage 4 motor and I'm not sure how much I can do without ending up into UV mapping hell, which definitely I'm trying to avoid.
I see oil cooler hoses are having clipping issues with a grille, I think that is official content though?
It is possible to make it fit properly though, very tight fit with manifolds (had to modify those quite a bit and still needs a bit of shaping), but almost if devs would of used Moonhawk engine to size up Miramar engine bay
Domestic JDM V8, that is appropriately inappropriate
